Overview
During the Middle Ages, Florence was an important cultural, economic and financial center and its streets originated in the second half of the fourteenth century, the Renaissance. The city is replete with history, art, philosophy and science and there are samples of it in every corner. To make sure you don’t miss anything essential, the guide will take you on an itinerary full of curiosities and interesting facts that will allow you to admire Piazza del Duomo, Mercato Nuovo, Piazza della Repubblica or Palazzo Strozzi. You will walk over the Vecchio Bridge and from there you will reach the
Palazzo Vecchio. You will have some free time to eat on your own and taste the typical Panzanella or Panino col lampredotto.
After the lunch break you will return to the bus to go to Pisa. Upon arrival, you will go to Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a World Heritage Site and where the Pisan Romanesque style cathedral is located. In this same square you will have the opportunity to take the famous photo next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Before returning to the bus back to Rome, you will have some time to explore on your own and see up close the Battistero di San Giovanni and the Angelo Caduto.
We will arrive in Rome in the late afternoon, travel in a comfortable bus where you can relax while crossing the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany and Lazio.
