Overview
The story of the Jewish community in Prague is long and troublesome. Their torrid treatment in the city began as early as 1096, and continued on and off through the centuries. But for the allied victory over the Nazis, Hitler would have succeeded in turning the Jewish Quarter into a symbol of his wicked ideology, a “museum of an extinct race”.
Explore Josefov, one of the world's most important Jewish neighborhoods, and hear its turbulent history from a knowledgeable, Spanish-speaking guide.
