Overview
Illusion Art Museum Prague (IAM Prague) is the first Museum in the Czech Republic dedicated to illusions and trick art.
IAM Prague’s exhibits bring to life historical techniques for creating illusions of art into the 21st century with a touch of local flair and encourages guests to touch and interact with all of its exhibits.
Spread out over three floors in a historically-protected building, you will encounter illusion art in many different styles. Some are rooted deeply in history, while others are contemporary and cutting-edge, from anamorphic installations to metallurgical painting, trick art and more!
Between the heap of different objects, you will find personalities such as Franz Kafka or Nikola Tesla. Challenge your perspective with the divided chair or triangle that looks like the same object in the picture or take a profile picture with spectacular angel’s wings. All over the museum, you will find paintings that appear to be jumping out at you.
