Visit the Germany's highest peak, the Zugspitze, soaring to 9,788 feet (2,962 meters). Take the cable car up and the cogwheel train back down to appreciate the full alpine experience. With departure at 10:00 am, you can even have a sleep in!

Departing Munich at 10am, you start your day with a visit to Zugspitze. This day trip takes you through directly into the foothills of the Alps and its green valleys. Passing the picturesque houses of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the bus climbs with you already the first altitude meters to the valley station of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain of Germany with 9,788 feet (2,962 meters). With the new cable car we will reach the mountain peak in a few minutes. After you have enjoyed the exhilarating view over 400 peaks in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland, there is still enough time to strengthen yourself in the restaurant (vegetarian or halal available). Special fun in the summer prepares the free bobsleigh or hike on the eternal ice. The descent takes place with the historic Cogwheel train.
