Known for its miles of tropical wetlands, the Everglades are home to some of Florida’s most iconic creatures. During this thrilling adventure, you’ll travel deep into these wetlands and search for the scaly back of a Florida alligator!
Kick things off with an exhilarating airboat ride! Featuring a flat, aerodynamic bottom and a fan-like propeller, this impressive watercraft can reach speeds of up to 40 mph. You’ll have an absolute blast as your captain expertly maneuvers through miles of Florida river.
Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for the Everglades’ famous living dinosaurs. It’s estimated that Florida is home to over 1 million American alligators. If you’re lucky, you may spot one swimming through the grass or floating at the river’s surface. While searching for these remarkable animals, your captain will share captivating facts about the Everglades.
Following your 30 to 40-minute airboat ride, you’ll enjoy complimentary access to the on-site animal sanctuary. Take a walk on the wild side and come face-to-face with over 50 rescued reptiles including Cannibal, the 1000-pound alligator! You’ll also get to meet friendly turtles, slithery snakes, and a baby alligator.
