Set in Regent’s Park, London Zoo is an oasis in the heart of the capital. With just under 15,000 animals, it’s a fun and exciting day out.
The zoo’s biggest experience, Land of the Lions, will thrill big cat lovers – featuring endangered Asiatic lions of which there are fewer than 400 in the wild! Newly opened, Monkey Valley is home to a troop of gravity-defying colobus monkeys leaping, lounging, swinging and snoozing.
Come face-to-face with one of nature’s most awesome predators in Tiger Territory, learning about the natural behaviours of Sumatran tigers and their conservation issues. Other exhibits include a celebration of all things small but mighty, the wonderful world of invertebrates, an indoor coral reef tank and a beach with a colony of Humboldt penguins. Don’t forget to observe the grace of the giraffes and stop by the magnificent residents of Gorilla Kingdom.

A child is age 3-15 years

The zoo is accessible for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties. Please note: No dogs, bicycles, scooters, rollerskates, rollerblades or skateboards are allowed on Zoo premises. Please call before your visit if you require further details
The Zoo is open seven days a week, all year round, excluding Christmas Day. Please check the direct website for any closure information.
