Overview

Itinerary
Day 1: Edinburgh to Inverness - The journey takes us past the Forth Bridges to our first stop in the pretty village of Dunkeld, then to the Highland Folk Museum (used for scenes in Outlander), Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns.IKIrkwall
Day 2: Inverness to Orkney - Dunrobin Castle enthralls visitors with its beauty and history. It is quite the photgenic castle. After the castle visit will be the ferry to Orkney.
Day 3: Orkney - There is a bit of time jumping today with today's itinerary. The day starts with a visit to the Italian Chapel built by WW2 prisoners and the rest of it is spent being transported to the Neolithic period with stops at Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar and the Stones of Stenness,
Day 4: Kirkwall to Ullapool - A ferry is taken to return to the mainland where the coach takes the North Coast 500 route once again. There is a stop at Smoo Cave and Northwest Highlands' Geopark , Knochan Crag. Arrive in Ullapool, teh day's final destination at 6:00pm in time to explore the town and grab dinner.
Day 5: Ullapool to Portree - The coach crosses over the Skye Bridge to reach The Old Man of Storr, a well-known rock formation, that has its own legend and Kilt Rock with its hypnotic waterfall. The coach rests for the night in Portree while you walk around and take photos of the colourful homes on the coast.
Day 6: Portree to Oban - Before a final farewell is given to the beautiful Isle of Skye, there is a visit to Sleat Peninsula known as the 'Garden of Skye'. A ferry is taken to Mallaig where there is time for lunch before boarding the Jacobite Steam Train aka 'Hogwarts Express'. The train traverses the Glenfinnan Viaduct before stopping at Fort William. On the way to the fishing town of Oban there is a stop in Glencoe to take photos of the imposing ancient mountains.
Day 7: Oban (Free day) - Today is the day where everyone is free to choose how they want to use it. There are many options to choose from such as taking a ferry from Oban to a Western Isle , a visit to a whisky distillery, or a relaxing day meadering around Oban. The guide has the day off today.
Day 8: Oban to Edinburgh- As the coach leaves Oban and heads for the lowlands, there are views Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument as the coach goes past them. It is now time for a visit to the Kelpies, the world's largest equine scuptures dedicated to workign horses. The coach arrives in Edinburgh around 5:00 pm.

Cancellations made 21 days or less prior to the departure will incur a 100% fee. 50% fee for cancellation 45-22 days prior to departure.
