Do you want to get to know the true story about World War II, Holocaust, and Nazi Concentration camps that took place before the year 1945?

The best way to do so is an organized tour with a local tour operator and see the place of extermination.

The place reveals one of the most (in)famous periods of humankind's history. You will see authentic crematories, gas chambers, and barracks. Every year millions of tourists come to Poland to visit the Auschwitz state museum and walk through the gate with an inscription: “Arbeit Macht Frei” (Work sets you free).

The tour is a great way to learn about the history of this tragic place. Your guide will take you through the Auschwitz I and II-Birkenau concentration camps, explaining the significance of each site along the way. You'll also have the opportunity to see firsthand some of the artifacts that remain from the Holocaust, including the personal belongings of prisoners and photos of those who perished.

You will experience:
Memorable Unesco World Heritage Site, a symbol of the holocaust

Knowledgable group tour of Auschwitz with the local tour guide in a group of up to 30 people

Original wooden buildings are available for visitors, including documents, gas chambers, crematoriums, pictures, personal belongings, and more interesting exhibitions.

Lots of walking with only a short break (10 minutes), as this tour is very intense

Auschwitz-Birkenau camp details:
Prisoners from all over Europe (mostly Jews) were transported to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum was established in 1947 after WWII after Red Army liberated the camp in Oswiecim. Numbers are shocking over 1 million people died in nazi german concentration camp in occupied Poland; 960 00 Jews where among them (438 000 were Hungarian nationality, 300 000 were Poles, 70 000 from France […])

It is said that this place is a symbol of what nationalism can lead to. Prisoners lived in horrible conditions with 700 kcal per day, forced to work over their strength. You will witness real places and barracks where they lived and the remains of the railway ramp.

Auschwitz has been put on the UNESCO World Heritage List as well as Wieliczka Salt Mine - check out the Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour for more information.
