Overview
Visit one of the world's most spectacular places of worship on a half-day guided tour from Dubai. An air-conditioned vehicle takes you from your hotel to Abu Dhabi, a drive of about 90 minutes each way.
Spend around two hours at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where white marble courtyards, floral mosaics, giant Swarovski chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet await. Your English-speaking guide explains the mosque's design and the vision of Sheikh Zayed, the UAE's founding president, and there is time for photos.
Women receive a free abaya and scarf to borrow. Afterwards, you are driven back to your Dubai hotel.
Know before you go
• The tour duration includes hotel pickup, drop-off and travel time to and from Abu Dhabi. The operator will contact you within 48 hours of the tour date to confirm your pickup location and time.
• Visitors must carry their original passport during the tour.
• Women must wear long, loose clothing that covers the arms, legs and head. A free abaya and scarf is provided and must be returned after the visit.
• Men must not show skin above the knees and must cover their shoulders. No clothing is provided for men. Tattoos must be covered during the mosque visit. Entry may be refused if the dress code is not followed.
• The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is closed to visitors during Islamic festivals, and its opening hours differ on Fridays.
• Not suitable for wheelchair users. Luggage and large bags are not allowed.
Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of booked time slot. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
