Occasionally some mornings we may experience strong winds or fog, if this happens, we may change the order of your experience to make it more enjoyable. First, we would drive you to our camp and you will be served a gourmet breakfast, here you can relax and your hot air balloon experience will begin after the fog has lifted. When this happens, the sun would already be up, but the views are just as beautiful.

Children under the age of five will not be accepted for the hot air balloon flight. Our tour is not recommended for guests that have had major surgery in the last six months, anyone that has suffered a broken leg or arm in the last six months, anyone who suffers from chronic neck, back pain or injuries. Hot Air Ballooning is not recommended for pregnant guests and will only be permitted to fly within the first trimester.

Overview

The excitement starts before sunrise – we promise that the early wake-up call will be worth it! Our driver will collect you in a stylish Land Rover Defender to whisk you out to the balloon take-off site in the desert. The journey is only an approximately 45-minute drive from Dubai.
Arrive at the take-off site in the desert to be welcomed by your personal balloon Pilot. After a quick safety briefing, the Pilot will begin the exciting balloon inflation process. Before you know it, you will be climbing into the balloon basket and waving to the ground crew as your Hot Air Balloon gently starts to float and head up into the sky.
You will be floating on cloud 9 (quite literally) as the Hot Air Balloon glides over the Dubai desert at 4,000 ft. Look out for wandering camels and Arabian Oryx down below and take in the stunning views of the sunrise over the rolling sand dunes and the Hajar mountains. One of the best things about this private Hot Air Balloon is that the entire experience is your own. This means that you get clear 360-degree panoramic views from the basket and share the intimate experience with your Family.
After landing in the desert, your private Land Rover Defender will collect you for the next part of this romantic experience. An adventure like Hot Air Ballooning wouldn’t be complete without a hearty breakfast – besides you’ll need a bit of quality time to reflect about your Hot Air Balloon ride before heading back to the city.
Your breakfast is served in a private desert setting prepared especially for you. Set at an exclusive desert oasis in a Royal desert retreat, you’ll get to take in the beauty of the Dubai desert for even longer. Enjoy the charming silence of the desert in the morning in the private desert setting and take in the stunning scenery set amongst the sand dunes.

Please note that this booking is on a request basis and availability will be confirmed 24 h before departure.
Pick-up Timing:
Pick-up times will vary through-out the year. In order for you to plan your day, please be prepared for a pick-up between the following times:

September - November: 03:00am - 04:30am
December - February: 04:00am - 05:30am
March -May: 03:00am - 04:30am
Kindly provide us with your hotel, room number and contact number as we need to call you to advise the exact pick up time. If we call and are unable to reach you, we will leave a written message with the reception/operator, to be delivered to your room. The operator will contact you within 24h to 48h of the tour date to confirm pick up location and time.

Due to the nature of the activity, the driver will not be able to wait if you are not at the designated meeting point on time.
If you have not received a written message from Balloon Adventures by 07:00PM the evening before your flight, please check with your Hotel or call us on 04-4409827.

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance that will cover you in case of unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining your scheduled tour. We will be more than happy to provide evidence to your insurance company if you were unable to join us.

Please note that the tour is dependent on weather conditions and therefore may be cancelled by the Supplier at any time. In the event of cancellation by the Supplier due to weather conditions, please be advised that we will do our best to reschedule the visit or provide a full refund for the tour/ticket.
